Do a physical inspection if the keyboard is damaged or if spillage is present.

If spillage is present, dry any wet fluids with a paper towel or cloth. If you are comfortable with the next procedure, the keyboard can be cleaned with electric cleaner spray cans or a mixture of 1:1 distilled water and isopropyl alcohol sprayed on it. Wipe and dry appropriately.

If keyboard is physically damaged, repair and replacement will be required.
