When saving in Adobe Reader, there may be a case of a white screen popping up when saving. This requires a tool to be disabled within Adobe Reader. The white screen should be closable, if not, restart Adobe Reader. Either hit CTRL+K or go to Edit > Preferences to access the next window. Find General category on the left pane and in Basic Tools, uncheck 'Show online storage when saving files'. If 'Show online storage when opening files' is checked, you may uncheck that as well. Scroll down that window and click OK at the very bottom to save the changes made. You will now be able to save without the a white screen intruding!
