Let the computer load and operate it's initial startup applications! Do not open of too many apps right after boot up.

Computers have background apps that runs on the backend without users noticing such as Windows Security or 3rd party services. When a computer first starts up for the day, programs will always race to run all at once. This takes up quite a bit of the computer's resource like the CPU, Memory, Network and Disk. If a you are already an up that is currently running and taking up large resources, it will affect performance.

Not keeping consistent shutdowns or restart may cause a longer slow duration. A good habit is to shut down your computer often. When booting up a computer, let it load for 5 to 10 minutes before connecting to remote sessions, apps, and loading heavy files or searches.

Should performance still suffer, other applications may be consuming large resources from the computer and further investigation is advised.
